Summer Grilling

It’s that time of year where the weather is getting HOT and nothing sounds better than grilling out for dinner, kids playing in their bathing suits in water, and relaxing on the porch listening to Jack Johnson. Can you tell I’m excited about summer? Found this recipe over at Mix and Match Mama and couldn’t resisit. The Ranch Burger with Avocado Ranch Sauce.

Ranch burgers are pretty common but add a little avocado ranch sauce and they’re out of this world.  Easy.  Simple.  Weeknight.  Done.
Shopping List
1 pound ground beef
1 (1 oz) packet Ranch dressing seasoning mix
1 avocado
1 cup Ranch dressing (from the bottle)
Sliced red onions
Burger Buns
Preheat your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high.  In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine ground beef with the packet of Ranch dressing seasoning mix.  Divide ground beef mixture into 4 burger patties.  Grill about 6 minutes each side.
While the burgers are on the grill, place sliced avocado pieces in a food processor.  Add in Ranch dressing and pulse until combined.  (If you don’t have a food processor, just use your hand mixer…the one you use to make cakes and such).
Remove burgers from the grill.  Top bun with burger patty, avocado ranch sauce and sliced onion.
Nothing beats a burger dinner!
